More like a short cami than a sleeveless top. I am 5'5 and it was at least 1-2 inches above my belly button. Also the lighter colors like white are sheer, so you can kind of see the cups inside. Cups are pretty firm and cannot be taken out of fabric. Overall I actually do like the style and will be purchasing a black one as well. If you wear it as a layer, the sheerness is less obvious. Great layering piece, would not recommend just wearing it as is.
