It is thick and very nice quality. I am typically a XS or S in tops and this is definitely oversized. It's really cute. I guess my shoulders are broader because the open shoulder area does not go that far down for me. The collar is also a bit of a tight squeeze. It does not stretch over my head as much as I would like. It's really cute and can be tucked in to pants or skirts. I can wear it as a dress, but more like a lounge around the house kind of dress because it is VERY short and ends right below my butt. Taking off one star for the struggle to put my head through the collar.
