I would definitely recommend at least 1 size up from your wait. I am 25-26 and found a 26 to be a bit tight around the hip. Also, the white version of these jeans are a bit sheer and looks a bit awkward around the pocket areas (you can see them under the jeans). VERY cute fit thought, just something to be aware of.
